The SETN 2022 Conference was held in Corfu, Greece between the 7th and the 9th of September 2022. The conference was organized by the Humanistic & Social Informatics Laboratory of the Department of Informatics, Ionian University.

The main target group was students who according to the numbers, scored the highest percentage of participation : the total number of registrations was 71 persons. The non-EETN registrations were 45. EETN awarded scholarships to students, providing several free passes to the speakers.
SETN 2022 had a dense, rich programme with challenging talks/presentations, as follows:
- 2 Keynote speeches from (a) Gianluca Bontempi, Université Libre de Bruxelles and (b) Antal van den Bosch, Meertens Institute & Utrecht University of Amsterdam.
- 10 sessions on AI research topics
- 1 PhD poster session
- 2 tutorials given by (a) Michael Sioutis, University of Bamberg, Germany and Zhiguo Long, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China and (b) George Vouros, University of Piraeus, Greece
- 1 Special Session on “AI in mobility and logistics”
- 2 Industrial sessions
- 2 workshops, and
- The WAICY Greece competition between young students
