SETN 2020 | 11th Hellenic Conference on Artificial Intelligence: NEW ANNOUNCEMENT

The organisers of the 11th Hellenic Conference on Artificial Intelligence (SETN 2020) would like to reassure all interested participants that the conference will take place from September 2nd to September 4th 2020 as initially planned.

The organising committee continues to monitor the development of the COVID-19 pandemic to decide whether participation in the conference will be physical or virtual to best allow everyone to participate. In cases where authors are unable to travel to Athens due to pandemic-related restrictions will be allowed to present their work remotely.

The deadline for Research Track paper submissions remains May 29th, 2020. All accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings, which will be published by ACM (International Conference Proceedings Series) and will be available through the ACM Digital Library.

SETN 2020: Call for Research Papers

The 11th Hellenic Conference on Artificial Intelligence (SETN 2020) will be held in Athens, Greece 2-4 of September, 2020. SETN 2020 is organised by the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society (EETN) in collaboration with the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of NCSR “Demokritos”, the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business, the Department of Informatics and Telematics of the Harokopio University of Athens, the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering of the University of West Attica.

The Artificial Intelligence Conference of the Hellenic AI Society (called SETN) was established in 1996 and since 2002 is organised bi-annual. It is one of the most prominent forums for Greek and International AI scientists to present original and high-quality theoretical and applications research in  AI. The official language of SETN is English and international participation is highly encouraged.

Scope of Research Track

The conference invites high quality submissions describing work in any area of Artificial Intelligence, from fundamental theoretical work to applied technologies. The conference aims to:

  • bring together AI researchers, to promote knowledge dissemination and collaborations,
  • inform students about the current state of the art in topics related to AI,
  • promote research results to companies and facilitate the development of innovative products.

SETN 2020: Call for Tutorial Proposals

The SETN 2020 Organizing Committee invites proposals for tutorials to be held in conjunction with the conference. Tutorials should concern theoretical and applied topics of Artificial Intelligence as specified in the list of topics in the call for papers.

The tutorials will precede the main conference technical program and will be free of charge to the attendees of the conference. The presenter of each accepted tutorial will receive a free complimentary conference registration and a certificate of appreciation at the closing ceremony of the conference.

SETN 2020: Call for Workshop Proposals

Background

Proposals for Workshops that examine emerging, innovative, or otherwise provocative issues within the conference AI topics are encouraged. There is no restriction to particular topics of the conference. Especially we welcome novel and multidisciplinary topics with an emphasis on current challenges, theoretical advances and innovative applications.
