In the Spotlight
Each year, a significant number of new members from all categories join the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society (EETN). Each one is unique, and together they represent a valuable addition to the AI ecosystem connected to Greece. On this page, we will have the opportunity to highlight some of these new members, as well as long-standing members who actively contribute to our community in various ways.

Category: Corporate Member – new member, start-up
Bitloops is a VC-backed technology startup based in Athens. Its core product is an AI-native platform that helps frontend developers convert website and web app design mockups into well-written code, boosting their productivity. EETN welcomes its most recent startup addition in its community!
Category: Corporate Member – new member, Center of Excellence
Grant Thornton Greece’s Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence is a pillar of innovation for leveraging AI technologies across multiple critical business sectors, such as fintech, shipping, and energy. Its goal is to support organizations in adopting AI in line with relevant regulatory frameworks, such as the EU AI Act, and to develop responsible, explainable, and trustworthy applied AI solutions. It has deep expertise in building data governance infrastructures and combines technological excellence with business understanding. It envisions a strong, collaborative AI ecosystem in Greece. This vision is commonly shared with EETN! Welcome on board!
Category: Regular Member – new member with direct contribution to the community
Kalliopi Dalakleidi, new regular member of EETN. Kalliopi is a postdoctoral researcher in the Natural Language Processing group of the Department of Informatics at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Her research focuses on the design and development of intelligent computational systems in the healthcare domain, with a particular emphasis on the analysis of multimodal health data. We would like to thank her especially for her contribution to EETN’s biweekly members’ meetings, through her introductory presentation on the use of AI technologies in healthcare. Category: Student Member – consistent contributor to the EETN community
Iliana Kosti, student member of EETN. Iliana is a lawyer, a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation, and a PhD candidate in the field of AI ethics at the University of the Aegean. She specializes in technology law, personal data protection, intellectual property, technology transfer, and telecommunication laws. We would like to thank her especially for her contribution to the design and delivery of the informative lecture series LAW4AI: AI Act, GDPR, Patents. Watch the lectures here.
