On Tuesday, July 19 2022, in a meeting with the Deputy Minister for Research and Innovation, Mr. Christos Dimas, the memorandum of cooperation between EETN and Elevate Greece was signed! EETN was represented by the Vice President Prof. G. Vouros and the Board Member and Corporate Affairs Officer, Dr. Anestis Fachantidis .

Representing all Greek scientists in Artificial Intelligence, EETN, through this agreement provides the following opportunities:

• Match-making of EETN members with Elevate-Greece member-companies in order to bulid collaborations as well as AI mentoring actions .
• Participation of Elevate Greece members in the EETN Conference on Artificial Intelligence (SETN) to present their technology (AI related).
• Registration of Elevate Greece members on preferential terms as EETN corporate members through a relevance assessment process. An opportunity for academic recognition and greater visibility of companies active in AI.

By joining forces, EETN and Elevate Greece aim to help the Greek innovation product become “smarter” with the use of AI technologies and support IT researchers and academics in their interface with applied research.

Elevate Greece member-companies have already shown interest in registering in EETN and two registration requests have been approved. You can find the corporate membership registration platform here. The match-making platform between Elevate Greece members and EETN members is under development and is expected to be announced within 2022.
